De Thali (Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre & Gold Centre, Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi) — Despite being attached to one end of the Madinat Zayed food court, De Thali wouldn’t look out of place in the more fashionable parts of East London or Soho in New York. There are works of art on the tastefully plain walls, with big tables and comfy sofas.De Thali offers everything from “all-in-one” Thali meals (where you get a biryani, plus a dahl, chutneys and some naan), to dosas and more traditional tandoor Indian fare.
